Thesis is consuming my time and energy to the fullest right now. All day, all night, can’t go a minute without thinking about thesis. The opening for the show is just one week away so it’s crunch time. Remember this dinner from January? Well, it’s coming back again to go into my thesis documentation. My friends and family with be NY famous!

Late afternoon acai and granola lunch to break up the thesis craziness. With a week to go before the show opening everyone is a little nuts, working long hours an sleeping very little. This is the final countdown.

Today was hot outside and hot in the kitchen. Went for a midday walk to the grocery store to pick up things to prepare the night’s meal for my thesis. This time, it was my first time making pork belly adobo, but I don’t think it will be my last. Quick, yummy and Filipino approved.

Just stumbled upon the Project Runway Duck Tape pop-up shop today. This is probably one place that having rolls is actually a good thing

Spring is in the air and on the streets.

Today as I was buying my lunch and non-alcoholic Ginger Brew and the cashier suggested I try it with a special rum. It was 2PM but she reassured me, “it’s 5 o’clock somewhere.”

Time flies. In a month, grad school will be over, how did two years go by so fast?
