My first major snowfall! It’s amazing how a gusty night can bring a beautiful tomorrow. The views from Central Park.

My first blizzard is here! The snow started to fall this afternoon so hopefully in the morning it will be a whole new, white, world.

Instagram makes everything beautiful. Well, mostly everything. Be warm. It’s chilly in the city.

Talk about a temperature change. Bundled up and on the run in the city.

Many ups and downs in the last couple weeks brought me home again to Maui. It got me thinking about how I am very privileged to study away from home in NYC. At the same time, I never felt more relieved and “at home” when I was with my family. I may go coast to coast, but my roots matter most.
