A night watching the 85th Radio City Rockettes Christmas Spectacular: 1251 Avenue of the Americas/the Christmas chandelier from below/a Red Velvet Rockette cupcake from Magnolia Bakery. Amazing.

Leaving the city and some technology for Long Island to enjoy Thanksgiving. Pictures from yesterday evening and this morning. Loving the fresh air.

Finally back to the apartment after almost three weeks of Sandy recovery. Just in time to add some handmade holiday spirit.
Just some things I’ve come across in my NY weekend…
The Empire State Building, from the backside.
The slightest crescent moon and some swirly firey sky.
Plush doughnuts, yummy doughnuts, and a person who is enjoying his doughnut from Doughnut Plant New York.
Stay tuned for more…
Growing up, my Mom never let us have a dog or cat. We had a bird and fish. Not the most exciting pets, but they were still better than nothing! Now that my older brother is living on his own, he got a dog, Yoshi. He’s a fun, happy, energetic little thing and November 17 is his birthday! It’s Nov. 18 here in NY but he still got a couple more hours to celebrate in Hawaii. Happy Birthday Yoshi!
The unofficial middle names Anpan and Neko were suggestions from the sisters. Anpan, a Japanese red-bean filled bread and Neko means cat. You can probably tell why they didn’t make the final cut.
