So many creatures, where’s the ocean? | Chinatown, New York City

Looking south towards the new World Trade Center in the making, also very close to where I live now and my new home for next year. All I do is school, but I’m glad that doesn’t stop me from capturing moments to share from my busy day.

I wood rather take a break from grad school life. After a busy, non-stop work week, I took some time on Friday night to work on a project for my Amanda Joy in North Carolina. Another Maui native far from home, this is getting to her via snail-mail. Once she see’s the final thing, so will you.

Time to introduce another Matsumoto–Mike. A Maui native, Chef, DIY-er, Movie producer (check out his videos on YouTube!), Gardener, Heart attack and Lung Cancer Survivor, living life to the fullest and my only Uncle.

This is “Spice Field”, an interactive project by fellow MFA D+T candidate Amira Anne Pettus. If you think this looks beautiful, you are missing out on the smell of it.
